HMAS Ballarat J184 and B236 | |
Built by Williamstown Dockyard, Melbourne. Commissioned 30 August 1941. On 14/2/1942 the ship rescued 215 survivors from MV Derrymore, including future PM, John Gorton. Sold to Honduras as the "Carmencita" but sale stopped by Korean War. Scrapped in Sydney in 1953. | ![]() |
